As President of the European Evaluation Society (EES), I strongly endorse the Official appeal of the Ukrainian Evaluation Association to all evaluation communities and share their denunciation of the Russian government’s attack on sovereign Ukrainian territory that began in February 2022. I call on all evaluation communities to speak out loudly against the suffering being inflicted on the Ukrainian people and to use all their influence to disseminate accurate information and mobilise governments, civil society activists and private organisations to bring an immediate end to the Russian government’s aggression. EES stands in solidarity with fellow evaluators and others in Russian and Ukraine who are fighting for truth and accountability under the most difficult of circumstances.
